Milly Alcock is an Australian actress who’s quickly risen to international prominence. She began her career in Australian TV—making her debut in a 2014 episode of Wonderland, followed by roles in shows like Janet King, Pine Gap, and A Place to Call Home. A breakout moment came with her lead role as Meg in Upright (2019–2022), earning her a Casting Guild of Australia Rising Star Award and an AACTA nomination.
Her global breakthrough arrived in 2022 when she portrayed young Rhaenyra Targaryen in HBO’s House of the Dragon. Her “enchantingly expressive” performance garnered critical acclaim and a Critics’ Choice nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
She’s since expanded her roles into music videos—with a featured appearance in Noel Gallagher’s “Easy Now”—and stage, playing Abigail Williams in The Crucible at London’s Gielgud Theatre in 2023.
Looking ahead, Milly is set to join the DC Universe as Kara Zor‑El/Supergirl, debuting in Superman (2025), with her own feature, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, due in 2026 under James Gunn’s direction.
